Facts About Dr Louis Tremblay

For the past 2 weeks me and my reading group (Brisbane Broncos) have been writing about an info graphic (Article), about an person called Dr Louis Tremblay. What I learnt about this is, when you use the bathroom it goes all the way down the drain to the landfill. Also I enjoyed writing about this or him because he uses chemicals that I haven't heard of before.

The City Of Atlantis

for the past few weeks we have been writing about the mysterious city called Atlantis. We also had to write what has happened inside in the picture. What I learnt about this was really fun, because I could see things inside it like turtles and other sea creatures. I have enjoyed writing about this because we could be creative and write it.

                              Atlantis

7 years ago in the Atlantic Ocean, there was a sacred city. But it was not just an ordinary city it was………… ATLANTIS. So everyday in Atlantis ,there was heaps of traffic on the road and it was really loud. When people were driving there slow cars would honk their horn,s and the sound was so loud it sounded like a cow going mooooooooooooo and that had disturbed people. 

But on that mysteriously day when people woke up at about 4:25 am they heard the most powerful ocean rising up then……..

BANG!!!

The tallest skyscraper in their city has collapsed. So there was a short amount of kids awake  and the rest were dead asleep in their hotels. While they were sleeping there was a big siren that said “EVACUATE THE BUILDINGS I REPEAT EVACUATE THE BUILDINGS.” 

Then everyone woke up and ran but they ran because their lights had extinguished then it was really dark, While people were trying to run away to the water rising and rising until Atlantis had been sunk so deep that nobody could find it. After that it was the next day of the apocalypse for the city of Atlantis, but there were only 2 survivors remaining, Finn and Jakewere best friends. The things about them are that Finn is 15 and Jake is 14. So after that they had to think of a plan because sometimes Finn is sea sick , but when they went outside of their houses there was like an enormous flood all over the entire CITY. But what they did was that they tried to find a boat and some life jackets. But it took them 2 weeks but still, they couldn’t find it. So then they went to bed. 

Finally, the last day of nowhere to find help. When Finn and Jake woke up, there was water all over the floor, then they still tried to find a boat, then finally they found a boat and went off to find land.

May Road School Then And Now

For reading for the past 2 weeks we have written about, my school May Road, then and now. We had to write about the two differences about, what they looked like in the past- 1990 and the future-2020. What I learnt about the past and future was that there can be changes like, in the past there was no room 11, 9 or 10. But now in the future there is. What I enjoyed was that I got to discover more about my school history. It was interesting because me and my group got to learn about what happened in the past and the future.

My Exciting Holiday

This is a piece of writing that happened in my wonderful holidays.

My Exciting Holiday

On the exciting holidays it was my Mother’s birthday, and we celebrated it by going to Mangere bridge. What we did was AMAZING!!. But, when we arrived and  hopped out of the car, and walked around, it felt like I was in a crowded stampede of elephants!!. The thing that I was excited about was the Cake!!+ice cream.
When we got home we made a big BBQ with a side of pork. Then we made a homemade swing which nearly broke!!. After that it was dinner time,then when I got my delicious food it felt like I was in 'Foodtopia'. After that we went outside to go and try out the swing. It turned out that everyone could fit on it. The swing was made out of a chair and a rope. When we got on the swing, it felt like I was flying through the air like Superman!
On the next day the sun was shining and the breeze was flowing. My brothers and I, went outside to clean the outdoors. I came inside while my brothers were cutting the wood, so I decided to go outside and have a go and cutting the wood. I nearly hit my legs with the AXE!!!!!. So I used the little one. After I stopped cutting the wood, I went and picked up the wood to stack them all up inside the shed. There were still heaps of wood in the shed. I asked my brother to cover for me in stacking the wood, while I went back into the house to clean, which I didn’t, hahahaha.
