My Amazing Kupesi Pattterns

Hello fellow bloggers, welcome back to another wonderful blog post. For my learning this week for Maths we have looked at a picture of an Tongan Kupesi pattern. Another way of saying shapes is Geometry. We had to look at how the shapes have been used.
What I enjoyed was that I got to learn about my cultural patterns.
What I found Interesting, is that the shapes were cool to find.
What I learnt is that there could be lots and lots of shapes on one pattern.
The part that was challenging is that is was really tricky to find the shapes on the pattern.

Here is an example.

My Dangerous Discovery Of The Auckland Volcanoes

Hello fellow bloggers, welcome back to another wonderful blog post. So we had to work on what was the differences, between an active volcano and an extinct volcano. We had a look at a picture of the White islands volcano and it was still active with an magma chamber. There are about 50 volcanoes in Auckland, but there dead and the latest eruption was in Rangitoto also a new thing to learn as well. What I learnt, is that there are volcanoes that are active and dead, and it was really cool and a new thing to learn. What I enjoyed is that I got to learn new things about the volcanoes and the 50 in Auckland. What I found Interesting is that volcanoes can grow shorter if it's dead and if it's active, it's gigantic.
The part I found challenging, is that I got to learn about magma chambers, and here is where I am going to show you about my work I have did.
