     The fantastic VR inside the chamber

On term 3 Kevin came in again with the VR but it is about walking around the chamber. I have really enjoyed looking around the chamber because I could look at the hieroglyphics and it felt like I was actually there. When we used the other one we couldn't walk but in this one we could walk. this time we could have 3 minutes! because could explore the chamber more. When I had a turn I was very amazed because it was my very first time walking around the chamber!. I saw heaps of things like hieroglyphics and symbols. Also pictures of Egyptian people. I saw pictures of pharaohs on the wall and I kept going inside the same spot and I saw gods like Anubis. when it was dark inside the chamber we could turn on the flash light with the controller. When I was looking around it was like I was going in circles then I was about to get dizzy because the screen was bleary. I felt terrified because It was very DARK! After that when I put the head set of I felt very very DIZZY!.

A report about mummies

This week we have been learning how to write another report but it is about mummies. Mummies are like dead kings and queens. I have used scary words like terrifying and other things. I really enjoyed  writing about it because it would help me researching about it then getting ideas in our mind.

Here is an example of my report on mummies.

The terrifying mummies

         Mummies are like buried queens and kings and the other egyptian people just get buried underneath the sand.
Mummies cannot! protect us because they stay inside the sarcophagus which is a coffin .


Anubis is a priest that wears a jackal mask because they wear it for a ceremony and he is the god of embalming the dead.


 They get a knife to get the organs out. They get the hook to get the brain out by pulling the brain from the nose and then they throw it away and they leave the heart because they think it will be 

important. Then they put them in the canopic jars. A canopic jar is where you put the body parts in like the stomach, intestines, liver and lungs but they put it in different jars.Then they put water like nile water or wine on the body then they will put natron salt on them. They use the salt to make the body last longer. After 40 days it will dry. Then they wrap them with strips of material. 



After there are done they put them inside a coffin witch is called a sarcophagus inside a secret chamber and it’s under the pyramid. 

Film Festival 2018

When we made our first movie I felt nervous and amazed because it was Our very first movie ever!. Our movie was about a boy that was doing his work and then three people came and disturbed him by snatching his work. we got our ideas by working as a team. We worked as a team by talking about the movie. Next year we are going to make a movie about two cool boys and beautiful girl and then she will pick one of the handsome boys to marry her.

How to be sensible with the equipment

last week we have been learning about what to do on a wet day. When it is raining we have to go inside the classroom and get something quite to play with. Here is and example about what to do on a wet day.

The Great Maui

This week we have been learning about maori language week. I really enjoyed learning about the legend about the great Maui cause he was the one who fished up the north island in New Zealand.

The crystal unicorn

Last week we learnt how to write about a book that is called the crystal unicorn it is about a little girl that steals a unicorn from a shop. I have used the book to help me get information to write about it. I really enjoyed reading the story cause in it there was a lesson to never steal. The awesome virtual reality

Last week we wrote about virtual reality it is goggles but bigger and when you put something inside it then it will look real.

I have used information from the virtual reality to my writing.

I really enjoyed using the virtual reality because when we look around it inside it then it will look real and it feels like your there.

When kevin came in he came with the headsets. After that we had to take turns going on it. When we put it on it felt like we were actually their inside the chamber in Egypt. We had to wait because they had to use it to look inside it because they can explore around the chamber. When it was my turn I looked around the chamber and it felt like I was there around the slaves. I even saw a pharaoh that looked creepy because it was gigantic. I saw a slave with a torch in front of it. When I looked up I saw beautiful stars everywhere. We had to have a turn with it for 1 minute so it could be fair for the others to have a turn to. When we had turns inside the virtual reality Kevin he wrote words around so we could find it.

How to get ready for cross country

A couple weeks ago we learnt how to do procedural writing it is when you tell people how to make something or do something. I have used bossy words because it could make my writing more better. I really enjoyed doing this because it could make this more interesting for the reader. Here is an example of my procedural writing. I hope you enjoy it.

The Amazing Super Duper

This week their was a show and it was called Super Duper. 

I really enjoyed watching the show cause when we write about I could get more information.

The Amazing Super  Duper 
On Wednesday we had the super duper it was about books that come out. But two actors done it they were Blaze and Ashley. When it had started they sang a song about the books that there going to tell us like the Mum that was a pirate. After that they played it by acting so it could look real. Then they picked up volunteers and then the pirate said “hurry up and scrub the floor. Then a person was laughing and then the pirate told him to come up and walk the plank. Then Super Duper came and said” don’t make him walk the plank!. Then the pirate said” I’m just joking I’m not going to make him walk the plank I’m a kind pirate. The pirate told the people that was scrubbing to get back up. After that there was a next show and it was about a Dr Gizmo that was trying to steal Super Dupers power so he can not defeat her. Then he could not open the book because he was so weak so he got a volunteer to help him open the book then the Dr Gizmo came back. After that she got weaker and weaker so she had to run away then she went back. Then he told us if she comes back out then you shout out your favourite book because that is her weakness. So then she came back out and then we shouted out our favourite book. Then she was so weak she had to go back then super duper saved the day once and again. Super Duper when back home to see his mum then she spotted him and he said” I am going to see your son. Then he went up and he quickly changed. Then he came back down then she said” where's super duper. He went out the window to fly because that's what all superheroes do.         
  

    

A report about the amazing tigers

This week we have been writing about a report. A report is when people get information by searching then you get the information to gather it in.  

I have used researching on google because we can get more information.

I really enjoyed searching to get information then getting it from your head.

The Amazing Tiger




The most amazing things about Siberians is that they always have the same colour of black stripes and a orange coat.

It has black stripes and a orange coat.
It has razor sharp teeth so it can eat their prey.
They have very soft fur.

It goes to hunt for raw meat like Moose,Deer,Pig,Cattle,Horse,Water Buffalo and Goat.
Their important because their the top predators of the food chain and that means that they keep the population of the wild.
They can almost go anywhere.

The thing interesting is that their they are the biggest tiger in the cat family also its taller than a lion to kill it. They can live for 15 years. Tigers in the south china is  fast in swimming to catch their prey.
